Hello everybody! There are a few things I'd like to post, to make this process easier on me, and on you guys.
(1) To make it easier for me to grade the assignments, find them, and see how many people have posted, please respond to the journal questions as a COMMENT (not a post). I think that will keep things better organized, and it also gives me a nice little number of how many people have posted. To do this, just click the "___ Comments" button in the bottom right-hand side of the post, and then "Post a Comment."
(2) To create an account, click on the link that Madhu sent you earlier in the semester. If you can't find that e-mail, or never got it, e-mail her at madhueluri@gmail.com.
(3) Once you have an account, go to www.blogger.com, and sign in. The Soci 490 blog will pop up and you can create a new post. Again, please COMMENT for the journal assignments - posting can be reserved for everything else!
(4) If, for any reason, you have trouble with creating an account and comment anonymously, be sure to include your FULL name. There are several duplicate first names in our class.
(5) I am grading these assignments with checks - check plus, minus, late, etc. I am looking for: completeness and on-time-ness, thoughtfulness/reflectiveness, and if you are answering the questions sociologically. If you're not sure what that means, give me a holler.
Hopefully this will clarify a few things ... if you have questions, post them on this blog post, and I will respond. That way, everybody can see the answer.

Will our journal grades be posted somewhere, so we can gauge if our responses are in line with your expectations?
